I have decided a week ago, to at least bless someone everyday and record it down. It feels good blessing people and putting a smile on people's face... So here are the blessings for one whole week that I have recorded:

Wednesday, 17th March:

1. Helped Joe to buy printer ink catridge

Thursday, 18th March

1. Refilled Eileen and Robyn's water bottle

2. Helped Robyn and Celine to buy stuff from Coles

3. Pray for Ah Yek for her tough life in Herston

Saturday, 20th March:

1. Cooked Hainanese Chicken rice for house warming

Sunday, 21st March:

1. Pray for Ern Tze's sis as a cyclone hits her place in Mackay

Monday, 22nd March:

1. Cooked dinner for David Lue

Wednesday, 24th March:

1. Cooked lunch for Joe

2. Walked Robyn home

God have shown me His love unto me the past 3 weeks, and from this I really want other people to feel this love too. Here are 3 very interesting situations God has blessed me in,

1. Needed a group mate for my prac, suffered doing all the group prac work and out of nowhere a guy asked me to join his group, and his name is Jared Curtis... =D

2. Carried food to church after a long and tiring day, complaining all the church works and activities that I have to do and attend, out of nowhere Luke from Ipswich stopped by with his car and helped me carry my food. =D

3. I needed 2 logbooks for my courses, to record down results and hand calculation. Searching high and low, far and wide, =P looked in shops for 3 weeks for the standard log book bt no luck, all the shops have got no stock. Out of nowhere, Faculty of Engineering staff asked me whether I wanted a log book today, Praise The Lord!!!!

How wonderful is my God! I know You are always there for me.

Bunkface a Malay band rising up fast in Malaysian Music Industry singing not only Malay songs but English songs..

But this kind of dreams will not put food on my table (thats what mum always say). I shall not waste my time and parent's money.. Looking forward to going back to Brisbane and give my all

in my studies...

Hope Church Brisbane 16th Anniversary!

Finally last Saturday came our church anniversary... It was really a long waited one as it was my 1st attending it and also performing in it! This year the venue was smaller than the previous year, which was in Garden City Church where Hillsongs have their service.. This time around we had it in Canonhill Anglican Church, large theatre, small stage ><

I arrived noon to have rehearsals with the dance team.. And I can tell you it was so tiring having to rehearse again and again... But I just love to perform and the excitement just kept me going all the way.... Before the performance, the girls we putting on their make up and we guys couldnt run away but just had to put on make up as well..... T.T 1st time having eye liner and a lil blush on my face and I totally look like a clown.... ><

Our opening performance was by our Worship Arts and Media (WAM) dance team and I can tell you i enjoyed performing here... The amount of people were there cheering and giving you support, tremendous feeling... all glory to God! Funny thing I did a jump split and i tore my pants in the middle... One big hole.... O.o Spot the split!

After that, every service had an opportunity to present something to represent each services.. The performances were chosen based on the best previous events that happened earlier this year. We, afternoon service did a dance in the multicultural fiesta! and it was such a big hit they asked us to perform again... This time round one of our dancers went back to Hong Kong, so we asked Becky to replace her and she's just amazing... And! this time the performance went really well, I can really tell people enjoyed our performance.. Im so proud of myself and Joe for we did the choreo, and proud that my music edits made it right up there! Its just amazing how God led His hands and use us to glorify Him... Amen!

I just cant wait to perform again! and next is the Hope Brisbane Got Talent, we auditioned last Sunday, me and Joe... Basically we did quirky stuff, juggling, ballet, nobody but you and they loved it! We are going to perform in the Afternoon Service Appreciation Dinner and Im so extremely excited... =) Definitely more to come... Cheers!

It's the sandstorm! ahhh! 1st time in Brisbane but its nt as awful as the one in Sydney.. I went out early in the morning to UQ and i thought it was gna rain since it was so windy, then during my lab session i saw outside the window.. Orange! Yellow! OMGOSH! Bt I wasnt that kan cheong, calmly walk out the lab and look outside.. i was like wow sandstorm... mmmkayyy.... fascinating...

But it really wasnt as bad as in sydney... go check google and its crazy orange!

Anyway I really have been dancing a lot.. I mean A LOT! Theres the Hope Brisbane Church Anniversary Service and I'm gonna perform one anniversary dance with the team. And yesterday I found out that the Multiculfural Fiesta Dance we performed about a month ago was really a big hit, so they decided to slot in the same performance again... I was like woooowwww! Amazing Im so excited! Cant wait to give my all.. All glory to God for giving me this opportunity to serve Him in the dance ministry... I always wanted to dance, especially in camps where you have to choose workshops, I always wanted to join but ended up joining music or choir and bla bla.... Looking at staring at the dancers I was thinking, man I could do as good as them, why didnt I go for it...

Hours of waiting and preparing its finally here... its your birthday and i really hope you will enjoy the rest of your day after your paper... ^^

Let me tell u the great plan that was supposed to be carried out, I was going to buy a Creative Zen mp3 player which is so awesome as it records good sound quality... I tried it and I loved it so much. So after buying it ill record a song onto it and send back to malaysia, which I will ask someone to pass it to you, most probably elucia and there will be a letter as well for her to read then play the Zen.

So that did not happen due to many unforseen reasons.. hahah.. So here it is, a vid for you which Im quite satiesfied with it... Hope u like it.... ^^

Band of Brothers and Simply Women Dance Performance

Hey yea! It's been awhile since I last posted something... Ive been quite busy these few weeks, winter is now over, mid semesters are coming soon, involvement in church are just a blessing to me....

Dance! Thats what I have been doing a lot, previously I danced together with my group in the Multicultural Fiesta and the video is posted on the Project Passion Blog, check it out the link is in our sidebar under blogs I follow...

So the most recent event was the Band of Brothers and Simply Women organised by Campus Christian Movement and also Hope Brisbane Church. It was really good and we brothers enjoyed each other's company as we work together hiking up Mount Cootha. Well the girls had different events such as making up, self defence and also dance.

Well on Sunday, committees asked us to put up a performance for this event, and in 2 weeks we actually choreographed the moves and practiced it.. Its really awesome to see how God's hands move as we only had very little time and we manage to put up a good show.. here's the vid...

And theres more still to come! Im currently working thru my way into worship team here.... which is hard considering how big the church is... ^^ bye off to study...

ExtraOrdinary Power of the Lord on Special people in a Small Church on a Mountain

Today. What an incredible, awesome day it has been. The Lord is Great. My Lord, my God is great! I want to share this with all of you and whoever else that reads this to remind what an awesome God we have. There is none other like Him. To encourage you in your walk with the Lord. Here's what happened to a very special lady in our small little church of All Soul's.

Aunty Sandra is an elderly lady that attends our church. She has gone through a whole lot in her life. Many negative things. So many sickness and cancers and hardship. She had a rough childhood. But at the age of three, she heard bells ringing and saw it coming from a church. She snicked her way into the pews at the back of the church and was mesmerized by the organs and the settings of the church. By the tender age of eight, she gave her life to the Lord. She surrendered all she had to the Lord. And since then the Lord has been with her every step of the way. The Lord has appeared to her many times, revived her from near death experiences, so many she has had. What a blessed woman she is. For someone who has suffered so much, she put all her faith and gave all her love to the Lord. In return, she is truly blessed by our God. She has sooo many stories and testimonies to share. And the Lord continues to bless her life

Her testimony she gave this Sunday morning:

"22nd of June, it was night time, John my husband and I were asleep as usual. Suddenly i heard a voice calling 'Sandra, Sandra'. I woke up half asleep. 'Sandra, Sandra'. I opened my eyes, sat up on my elbows, and there was a blue glow together with a a golden glow. And there He was, my Beloved Jesus. His face full of love. A look of love that no human can posses or show. His eyes so sharp yet full of compassion. His hair long and brown. His skin, dark. So lovely.

The Lord reached out His hand and touched my head. He said 'I bless you my child'. And just like that He was gone. I woke John up telling him what just happened. I felt my head burning, a hot sensation. John switched on the lights and looked at me and told me, 'Sandra! There's a cross on your head!'. Surely enough, on my head, a cross. Thank You Lord. Thank You."

She ripped the plaster she had on head, and there, in front of the whole congregation, she stood with a cross on her head. My jaw fell to the ground! I was amazed and shocked! Never in my life had I seen anything like this. Straight after her testimony, I had to lead in praise and worship. My hands were sweaty and shaking as I stood on front of the church. I was soo..amazed and in awe of My miraculous Lord. I got a good clear look of Aunty Sandra as she was seated right in front of me. And that just made me want to burst out in worship for God.

The Lord stamped His name, His "logo" onto Aunty Sandra. She is His. He branded her His child forever and ever and ever. It kinda looks like you know when cowboys brand their cattle with hot metal. It's incredible!

In such a small community, and such a small church, it's easy to feel discouraged. Feeling uninspired, like you're not getting spiritual input. Sometimes we feel like the Lord is not with us. Like He has forgotten us. Today, He assured us that He is right here with us. I feel big things are gonna happen in the small community of Cameron Highlands. There are already happening. We needed encouragement from the Lord and He gave it to us. Oh how He did!

May i ask if you could keep our church, All Souls' Church and the Cameron Higlands in your prayers today. Thank You!!

I serve a truly amazing, compassionate, incredible, miraculous God! Keep praising Him today and always. He deserves it wholly and fully. WOOT!!

Heres another update, it was our friend Jonathan's birthday and I can say it was amazing... One of the best suprises i experienced in my life... Jonathan was one of the seniors in the group so an extra special birthday suprise was planned.. I came out with a song the day before the birthday instead singing an old traditional birthday song, looked up the internet for a very suitable poem and then asked Matthew to present it. Before his surprise we gathered at eileen's house to practise the song and discuss how was the surprise gna go.. cakes baked, songs rehearsed and all ready to go! let the following video serenade you, it almost made me cry watching it again.... enjoy.....

So here comes of the updates that I wanted to post up bt no time coz of exams. Exams ended 2 days ago and i gt so much to post! heheheheh..... on the end of May, me and Christine went to our first Project Passion dance class.... If you dont know what it is, its a performance group we formed under Judah C named project passion and u can get more details under the blog list under the name Project Passion. So after that we went Jonathan's house for some dinner... FYI, Jonathan is a very good cook so eating dinner at his house is something to look forward to plus every other people from our livegroup joined to cook tooo... So we had congee aka porridge and some other food... It was awesome!

Ive no idea why i put up that title... Probably listen too much of Falling Slowly... lol... emoing this few days with that song.... I think I might make a cover of it bt doubt can do it good coz of the false voice part... Kris Allen did it really good though singing it one key higher...

Bah I couldnt go online for 2 days and its just so frustrating! So frustrating that i ended up sleeping more than 20 hours for that 2 days..... (while emoing with Falling Slowly).. Was about to go uni at 8 just now bt suddenly the net came back up at 7.30.... So decided not to go and do my work here and emo with the song as well.. HAHA! well gta start doing my work now and nt waste time.... gud luck to everyone having exams hope it wont be a stressful week... my end of sem exams are coming in 3 weeks as well.... cheerszzz...

Was playing guitar last Tuesday after prayer meeting, when suddenly my friend Keith started singing Feliz Navidad.... Then I started playing and singing together, after that started singing other christmas carols...

I then began to realise, when is Christmas gonna come???? omgosh im so looking forward to Christmas! Im so looking forward to December!!! Arrgghh! Jesus' birthday!!

And I realise one thing, I miss each of everyone of you here alot.... I miss the times that we sleep together in dorm, sing together in choir, watch u guys do dance, and also the band! Its just amazing... Thinking all these things made me smile on that night.. you guys make me feel young again and I will always put all of you in my heart for the rest of my life... Cheers!

Surfer's paradise

Heyya! I went surfer's paradise with friends, Caroline and the 2 chinese girls Reena and Jane.... We went there by train then changing to bus.. It was really awesome especially the beach... really enjoyed the sun and really strong wind which in the end made us shiver a lil... HAHA.... played some frisbee on the beach and the wind made it very hard...

After that we went harbour town, and shop! I just bought a new pants for 49 bucks which the original price was 80.. was really happy... Then came the emotional part, i followed them to see some fireworks back at southbank... we went there and i found out it was the buddha birthday celebration and they had fireworks on tat nite... i saw the fireworks and songs were playing as background music for the fireworks behind me... when the fireworks reached the climax, the song 'beautiful day' by U2 was playing.. and i admit i shed a little tear... It was just too beautiful...

Was thinking that time, its buddha's birthday celebration.. why did u bring me here God? what do u wan to say? this event attracted so many people, easily 10 times our church size... and was oso thinking why cant we do this kinda thing? as in attract more people just to listen to our gospel.... it worked for the buddhist though... Bt my faith on Lord Jesus Christ definitely wont die.... thanx for that wonderful experience...

hahha... its easter holidays!! and midsems for us so me my friends, matthew, jonathan, jean and candy went to glasshouse mountain for a hiking experience... and mountain climbing too... its just about one hour from here in brisbane towards sunshine coast... It was overall and awesome experience and the last time I had this kind of experience was in national service back in malaysia...

So we set out early in the morning to jon's house to have an easter breakfast... then we went to the city to get our rented car... we droved around looking for the place and found it finally around noon... we 1st reached mount beerwah, which is awesome looking bt too bad its closed due to rock fall and i dunno wat... hahaha... matt and i decided to come back to that mountain one day when it is open again...

then we finally reached mount tibrogargan, as recommended by jean's boss... estimated time 3 hours, i thought it was easy at 1st bt we reached at one part tat we had to climb a quite steep slope... almost 90 degrees...

I actually fell and slip when i climbed the 1st steep part... and my confidence go down so fast tat i was so depressed... the remaining route to the summit looked so hard and all i can do was just sitting at the side looking at matthew climb like a spider... it was really dangerous, one slip and we are gone.. the rest of the gang couldnt make it up too...

I just sat down looked out at the scenery, calmed myself down, told myself, I can do everything through Christ who strengthens me! Bt I need to have common sense too!! one slip im gone.. this mountain is just for experienced climbers and im not... Bt i just tried little by little and finally i reached the summit.. was really happy tat I could climb up a really dangerous one...

So that was day 1, after the climbing we went to the camp site, which was full of mosquitoes aka mozzies or mossies.... set up our tent while spamming insect repellent... was really a funny experience... we had a bbq eating sausages and chickens!! was really awesome... at nite the guys went and squeeze in jean's new tent plus the mozzies, while I sleeping in Matt's tent without any mozzies and plenty of space... ^^ seriously i slept for 6 hours that nite... fuh...

Day 2 was just nt so good, with the rain nt stopping at all!! it was really raining cats and dogs the whole day!! I keep praying for the rain to stop bt really it kept on going.... So we just ignored the rain and went to the next mountain which is Mt Brumbrum... its was just steep walk all the way till the top which was nt so satiesfying...

We then head to the next one which was Mt Ngungun, the mountain that we avoided all along because of not so good rumours bout it... So only me, matt and jean went up, coz jon was tired and needs sleep while candy doesnt wan to get wet.. we set out again, at 1st was just easy tracks bt later we found out tat we must climb up... bt it was nt as dangerous as Mt Tibrogargan... With rain pouring down our faces, walking and climbing against the wind, we finally reached the summit which to our surprise was the best scenery we ever seen...

I call this place dragonland.... A place where nobody ever stepped foot into, a place where dragons came and visit this place 1000 years once, and to lay eggs to continue the generation of dragons... ^^

The other peak... we actually ran there, coz of the rain and wind, it was too cold! I couldnt take it and just ran as fast as I could to the other peak, it was really nice standing up there, the clouds blowing against you, its wonderful....

I wish I can come again, which we will... to challenge this wonderful mountains again, and also the awaiting Mt Beerwah.... Cheers...

Just posting this coz it really hit me especially when Im in Australia... U know back in Malaysia, I always try to do something special in public in order to get attention, or even show my talents for example playing guitar, bass, tell jokes, playing sports and etc.... Getting noticed by people is certainly a great feeling... Even nt being able to talk mandarin attracts people to me back in my hometown slim river.... Its nt very nice actually to do this but its just my habit to get noticed... Sometimes i'll stay low awhile and just appear out of nowhere.. hmm tats me... just to get more friends....

When I came to Australia, most of the people here wont even notice u, especially if ur asian, small size like me... If they do talk to you, means they are very polite and theres lots of them here... bt theres still lots of them who i find a lil bit avoiding asians.... So I really tried my best to be extraordinary, playing cool computer games, play guitar, I even tried my best in frisbee and thank god i could catch up with their pace... After doing so many things, I did have some people noticing me and saying hi to me... Bt a few days ago i was thinking up till now, whats the point of doing these?? God will provide me with friends if I dont have one....

And I really thank God for keeping me happy here with the amount of friends, no matter from where.. Asians, Australians, south american, european... Im thankful I have them as a friend... And Im thankful I found a really good group of christians mostly singaporeans and other asian countries... It just feels like home... Bt Im still going to go out there and show what a Malaysian can do.... ^^ Cheers...

Just a random post... Our care group or what we call here, livegroup, went for a bbq nite in southbank which is near the city... Had alot of fun there and getting close with the group members. And we took the ferry home, so while on the ferry when I was sitting, I looked up to the sky and it was amazing.. The amount of stars is just unbelievable.... Then it reminded me of a song which I sang long time ago, its called Indescribable....

Yea its finally friday.. the day where my weekend starts.... I just cant wait for the weekends especially for live group 2nite and also church on sunday... I dunno y bt i miss all this.. Mayb coz i miss asians and this life group and church is like almost 100% asians and i love it... Keeps my malaysian slang up to date.. XD

Anyway, classes started this week and its just very exciting to go back to classes coz I didnt study since last year September... So I was very looking forward to it and to my surprise i almost hated studying again.. lol... with the maths, project management, thermodynamics, statistics and one stupid english writing subject... But Im blessed to have a friend, Joe who drives me forward to keep studying everyday.. We were like going to the library everyday just to study for 2 hours... >< Besides, he encouraged me to gym and we went there so far for 2 days already.. I tell you by the time i gt back home after classes and library and gym, im just so freaking tired that I could just sleep standing.... Bt i had fun though with all this happenings... No footie yt so far bt i did went and try out for frisbee.. It was good and theres a league coming for frisbee and also soccer... theres also volleyball and Touch Football... SO many things happening and I just cant wait to get tired.. XD I went jamming last 2 weeks and it was awesome... I played bass the whole time and i really enjoyed it.. Can i consider myself a bass player rather than guitar??? Im really passionate bout bass... Miss you all and I do really hope I can see each of you guys again... Camp this year sounds impossible now, although Ill be back in Malaysia, Ill have to work to complete my practical training... Bt tat doesnt mean i cant visit everyone... Hi chillers..Feeling kinda bored now that school is over(evil laugh)for me...Anyway,SPM results are coming out soon.It's on the 12th of March I guess(fingers crossed) But during that time,I'll be in Johor ..That means my parents will be collecting the results for me and I won't be able to meet up with all my friends in school T.T

By the way,I attended the Education Fair in Penang yesterday.Remember I told you guys I wanted to further study my music.Looks like things are not going the way I thought it would be because music is expensive and the best place to study music in Malaysia is in KL(UCSI).I might take up interior designing in Equator Academy of Arts in Penang.Looks like God had a different plan for me.

Anyway,I'll blog some more details the next time I log in.Bubbye!

as mentioned much has happened. moved house. adapting to new house. trying to make it home. getting there. cny was great fun. had a blast with a posse of cousins. sch's been busy with sports. stpm is busyfying as it is. intense stuff man. exams are round the corner. disecting bugs here and there. then there was Valentine's Day. i'll never forget that day. the dullest day of my life this year. i had to laugh man. hope u guys had a better v day than me. *wink wink*..and now a new..task of mine = babysitting!..a adorable beautiful baby girl. life's basically on a role at the mo. and loving it. well at least trying to.

Crazy so far!!!! Had been really busy with packing and on Sunday nite finally boarded the plane to Brisbane!!! Bt I had to transit in singapore at midnite... It was definitely very good to have an experience travelling urself until australia... Bt my mom asked them for assistance... Meaning that someone will follow me until I reach there in Brisbane airport safely.. I thought at 1st the same person will follow me, bt as we change flights there were many who helped me... Being assisted is definitely nice, being 1st in line to board the plane after the old folks on wheel chairs, escorted everywhere u go and others... Downside to it was going down plane time, u have to wait until everyone disembark the plane then only u can go.. zzz.. Besides, I had to go to a waiting room when transit time full of old folks needing assistance... T.T

Happy valentines day to all of you... Especially to my loved one Sophia Lee.... Im sorry I couldnt get you anything and couldnt celebrate it with you... I just want to wish you a happy valentines and hope that you will be delightful on this day... Im very thankful to have you to love, to care, to tease and quarrel, and to share thoughts together. It has been a wonderful relationship so far and I couldnt have wished for more.. (wa like write farewall letter XD) All I hope now is to love you for as long as I can and if possible forever... I know things are still early and we might not meet for a very long time, but we will try to make things work out... People always say that long distance relationship will never work, well this is the time to prove to people and to test how much we love each other.... Tell the world that we can do it... So much for a valentine so far, just went out and came back for a drink with my friends and we just yap alot on previous stuffs... The days that we miss each other in class, the way we quarrel and so many things!!! Now I wish I could have get to know them better but theres still time in future if i do come back and meet them again... What wonderful friends they are, especially See Loon, Koon Zee and Pei Jing, and so many other friends..... Last Saturday I couldnt sleep the whole nite till morning coz of flu... flu and running nose for the whole nite and have been sneezing for hundreds of times... zzz.. i wanted to skip church bt then force myself to go but in the end struggle myself to stay alive and aware in church... Came back and had a fever and slept till nite... Thank God had fever before going Australia..

Hmm.... Most of my friends who are going australia would say its a new adventure, for example if they are leaving on 14th of february, their pm would be " 14th Feb, a new adventure~~"
I was wandering whether mine would be one too, after a great experience in Inti College, definitely I expect more..

I remember the time when I finished National Service, was really looking forward to college, what lies ahead of me, really excites me. Meeting new friends, freaking out, lots and lots of activities and also new study experience... In fact i never really expect myself to be ended up in Inti.. Likewise Uni of Queensland... Was always looking forward to UNSW..

SO what do I expect in Australia?? Lets see....

I want a taste of Australian football... Recently in the news ex-England star Robbie Fowler moved to some Queensland club, and I am just so eager to play in Australia... I may not be as good as Australians, but I want to promise myself to train and become as good as them... Thats just totally my dream since I was a little kid...

I hope my studies schedule will not be so tight, like Inti in my 1st few sems... I just hate going for 8am class and its always empty coz most classmates will be sleeping... zzz...

Im looking forward to play in a band... I came to inti not knowing that I would pick up the bass and drums... And to get into a band being the bassist is just overwhelming... Well my ex-band, Four Quarter Sinners found a new bassist after I left, and they are joining Battle of the Bands this year, wish them best of luck!! And also Im looking forward to play in church band... THis is the place where I can really grow and learn lots more.... ^^

I want another new jersey with my name printed out!!! Last time out I represented Inti in frisbee and i gt a jersey numbered zero... Dont know why i chose zero... (*cause ur number 7 gt taken... shh!!!)

Theres lots more I expect but these are the main ones... I am extremely excited of Australia... YO final preparations!! Gambate.....

hey!! was tooo busy to even open up this blog, so decided to post sumtin..
neways, now i understand why ppl say form 4,5 teachers are very clever... clever in curi tulang!!! hahaha...Till now i haven even met my Bio teacher!!!!!! 1st term test comin round the corner le ler... haizzz... dunno how im gonna survive Bio...

Neways, it was darn cool and fun to be in form 4... discipline in my skul is not soooo tight as few yrs before... The only and one and only thing that suck is my hair kena cut by DISCIPLINE!!!! stupid teacher, he knws my mom, so he purposely sut my hair shorter... later that day whn i went the saloon, the stylist said too short so have to slope up ler...

And one more thing that was soooo niceee... I cant believe i wqorship led in front of bishop during our church's induction service... but... had to sing a Tamil song cuz it was a combined service wiv tamil congregation... i was singing the song without knwing the meaning,... haha..

so everything is fine.... and i wun be around for a week during CNY cuz im goin China... my grandma's hometown.. haha...

SCHOOL HAS REOPEN!!! SXI couldn't have been more welcoming. As I entered the school, there were more parents then there were students. But the fun part was the blurness on the faces of the Form 1's. It reminded me of my first day of school. Then, I met up with my posse. THE DISCIPLINARIANS! The form 1's feared us as we walked down the corridor. It was like being in a movie. Haha! I got to know my teachers and met some new friends.

The next fun part was during recess duty. By the end of last year, we could only cough up about 7 monitors to come for duty. The teacher showed her dissatisfaction by telling us," You guys should get more moniters!". This year...... we got 44 monitors to come down. and now she says," You guys should find a way to decrease the number!".....=_=..... The first two weeks has been quite hectic? yup, quite hectic. But the real work will start when PMR is nearer. God bless all of you and take care! Byez..........

Oh well, nobody is updating the blog coz all busy with school and college. Well I guess Im the only one free here... XD 1 more month to go till I fly to Australia. And i dont know why Im nt nervous at all!! And Ill be going there alone all by myself, just hoping everything will go fine.

Preparations are still going on especially my acommodation, have been trying to book it since last december and thank God they are processing it now. Shoppings done, clothes, new shoe all ready for Australia and CHinese New Year!! woohoo!!!

Well I cant really say much here and dont knw what to update to u all. Have been sitting down in front of the laptop for the whole day for 1 week plus already. Have been playing dota, fly for fun and downloading shows to watch. ONE PIECE!!! great old anime and manga which I just started to watch. Addicted to it already.. LOL!!

Oh well have been playing guitar alot too since Im so bored. And oh yea im in love with paramore. Trying to learn to play their songs and also trying to ask my friend to do a drum cover of one of paramore's songs to put it here.. ^^ Hope to hear from you guys soon about school and others.. 1. get through form 6 in one piece.

New year Resolutionsss...

I have been thinking for quite sometime and finally i listed down a few resolutions that i think i really want for this new 2009 year....

1. To learn to play the violin... wanted to last year but didnt have the chance..

2. To be able to sing like the last few years.. Having trouble with catching my breath.. At the end of last year had been sick and until now whenever I sing im alwayz out of breath i dont knw y...

3. To play football regularly... I love football bt because of my parents strictness, I cant represent my school in it... zzz....

4. To get better results in Australia for my degree studies... Rated genius in spm bt in college i suck... Duno y I lost my touch... Have to work harder...

5. TO just be able to read the bible frequently.. Had been neglecting it alot...

6. To have my own music album if thats possible.. ^^

7. TO learn new tricks of juggling.. There are lots of it!!!

Christmas Caroling in CH

WooHoo! Christmas. What a Joy to celebrate it in CH, unlike last year where my family spent christmas on a plane back from Australia :| Haha

24th Dec 8:00 pm : Caroling night! Luckily I got the keyboard fixed in time. Heh

This is my family in one of the hotels we were singing in.

This was unbelievable! We sang at a Japanese restaurant in the Cameron Highlands Resort. Not many people there to listen but we all had fun!

There's the whole motly crew from all souls church CH, at "Ye Olde Smokehouse"

Basically we only sang in 3 hotels. We also caroled in a hospital and a Rumah Kanak - kanak Istimewa on the 18th.

24th Dec 10 : 30 pm: In All Souls Church for the midnight service.

For the past two years, the youths of CH have formed a band to play before the midnight service starts, while the guest arrived.

This year we had Steffie on the violin, Audrey on the drums, Steffie's brother on the sop sax, and me on the klavier. We played Christmas songs in a completely jazz style!

Before the service began, Lo and Behold, look who came!

Yep, Daniel Mohan (from camp if u dont remember :p) and his family visited CH, and yes without telling audrey or me ('',) They came 24th and went back on christmas morn, so we didnt spend much time with them.

The Christmas eve service was great, but my camera was a bit sleepy, thats y the pictures came out a bit blur ('',)

The Great Juggler

Well in a few days time, the Chinese Equipping Course will be held in my church... 19 youths from around malaysia coming to stay for 1 month.. SO during this period of time, I have been wandering what activities to plan for them....

And finally decided to teach them juggling....

Well I cant just teach them juggling for no reason... So I decided to look up the net and I found a blog which tells the top 10 benefits of learning to juggle...

SO here it is, the top 10 benefits of learning to juggle:

1. Juggling is great aerobic exercise. It’s certainly more fun than one of those stupid elliptical machines. You’re more apt to keep at it.

It has been a really busy week, and its now christmas eve.. The eve dinner yday was a success and I was really proud with my student's drum presentation.. Despite being 1st time on stage, in front of 300 people, they presented well and Im so proud of my kids...
3/4 of the audience yday was non christians and Im just happy that they stayed to listen to the invited speaker... I thought they would leave by then bt to my surprise they find the story interesting...

Well no christmas eve service and I knw u guys out there are having one... So have a good one and Ill be waiting for christmas in front of my laptop... =P Alone actually... I was trying to prove to people that its nt xmas bt christmas, bt then i guess i offended someone and oh well, I'll b alone now...

Hello!! I had to blog this because it was an extremely awesome day.... 20th of December a group of OSC youth's or Salak South's church youths came down for a visit in our church.. So we brought them and some of our young youths to Gua Tempurung!! It was my 1st time though and I tell u it was really awesome!! 1st when we started the cave route, they showed us a few stalagmites other things which resembles something.. FOr example there was a dragon, a pregnant lady, a picture of mona lisa and so many others!! It looks real and interesting.... there was even a breast statue... XD

And then comes the wetty part... XD we had to go through holes, slide down stones, crawl under stalagmites and squeeze through small routes!!! It was worth the money and I really enjoyed the atmosphere... I dont wan to stay there though coz its really scarry...

Shuffle in the cave!!

Later we had to rush back to go to Ulu Slim where orang asli's live there... I was surprised by the number of christians there... All orang asli christians are supposed to gather in thier hall for us to present something.. When we reach there, Almost everyone from the village came out of their houses and rush in the hall... Amazing.... We sang a few songs, played some games and also gave a little message to them... We brought foods and daily supplies for them too... I was really amazed by their talent actually... Every single one of them can sing really well... When they gather to sing betapa hatiku, it was like a choir singing... Beautiful...

We rushed back and reach at 6pm and quickly showered to get ready for carolling... Thank God the number of houses this year reduced, if not we will drop dead already.... Carolling was awesome and my fingers were burning actually halfway through it... the church guitar strings is like cutting and hurting my fingers... I went back and immediately fall flat from a busy day...

Next day I worship lead for the church and realised I didnt practise myself... =P Bt I've gone through many of these and the worship went well... the OSC youth presented a dance and my drum students performed an old fashioned 24 solar drum presentation!! I was just testing them and getting them ready to perform 2moro... And they did really great, hope they will do well too 2moro... 2moro will be the big Christmas Eve Dinner organized by our church... There will be 300 people attending this dinner and I hope everything will go well.... I did some decorations and will post it up another day... Including pictures of my students playing solar drums... FIN

CHILL CAMP 2008

This was the best camp I attended so far...Totally awesome!As they've all mention below...

I first came to this camp all blurr as usual.Not very outgoing type of person.But as the days go by,I slowly improved.Lol...I'm talking like a retard person.Anyway,for the first day when I arrive in Ipoh for the camp.Everyone was like introducing themselves.Then I kinda forgot all their name a few minutes later.Thank God that the camp was 6 days,or else I won't be able to remember the names of great friends I met in that camp.Jared Tan,Audrey Wong,Joshua Wong,Joel Edward,Jacinta Edward.OMG!!U GUYS R SOOOOO TALENTED!!God gave us all musical talents,so we gotta keep using them or else we'll loose them.(WARNING!USE IT OR LOOSE IT!)

Oh and by the way,Jacinta and Joshua are also great dancers.Gifted dancers.Great dancing with you guys.Although the warming up is quite torturing,but we manage didn't we?Keep dancing for the Lord.

Through this camp,I not only get to make new friends but I also learnt a lot of lessons.I learnt a few Swahili words like Umoja,Uzeema,Jamii etc.And each word there's a meaning to it and a teaching.That we always discuss in our team during morning devotions.It's so nice to spend time with our Lord in the morning and He really does give us strengh for each day.And it's also nice to worship the Lord with other brothers and sisters in Christ.The fellowship was there and I really enjoyed it.

I hope and pray that some day we will meet up and jam for the Lord!I really hope that I'll be there for the next camp.Can't wait to see you guys again.

Well I guess its my turn, My first time posting a blog too! First of all thank u guys for including me in this!

Camp, camp, camp. Everyone is talking about camp. So I guess i'll do the same. Well honestly I wasn't scared or nervous about it. Somehow I knew it was going to be fun.

DAY 1 : So the Cameron Highlanders were one of the first few to arrive. I saw Jared, and kind of remembered him. Somehow I remember Jacinta too. Day 1 waz super tiring esp with the treasure hunt. Sleeping was impossible with all d mossies. Cover your legs and they bite your hands. Cover your hands they bite your face. Cover your face and you can't breathe?!

DAY 2 : Workshop day! Haha, 1 reason I chose dance : Audrey and Elucia said they could never picture me dancing :) Well everyone was wondering what kind of dance we were gonna do. We saw the Urban Groove ppl, n Joel and I were like "Can we join d choir?" Haaha. But I think by the end of the day I was quite happy it was Hip Hop dancing. 5 hours of dancing is a real good workout too.

In the morning, I became closer with my team members. Esp with Jeff and Suet ming, our Drama King and Drama Queen. Having Tony as our facilitator was a real blast!

DAY 3 : The funnest day of the camp, where d Polar Express claim d Captain Ball Crown! HAaha. What a joy to see real team work. With Seut Ming, Naomi and Tony as our cheerleaders, doing the wave! We were d only team with ppl cheering. HAaha. The praise and worship we had was a blast, I really liked the one lead by Jared! Total fun worshipping JC. Wah, more to celebrate, our team was the Boggle Champion :)

DAY 4 : More workshops! Great day, Had so much fun dancing With Jen, Jac and Joel. JAC & JEN UR D HIP HOP QUEENS! Haaha. What was cool was that last 3 sessions, we didnt focus on the routine but instead the trainers taught us something else about hip hop dancing. Learning Locking was a real fun, btw watch Hilti and Bosch Lock on youtube , So cool!! Break dancing is seriouly tuff, very physically very challenging.

DAY 5 : CONCERT NIGHT! almost 12 hours workshop sessions, and everyone prepares for d concert. Luckily Jared, Wene June, Joel n I didnt kena make up : Honestly the most enjoyable performances were the praise and worship lead by Sunita, Regina, Steph and Pat, and also the mime!! Never knew how you could spread d gospel through mime. I'm sure I can say for everyone it was touching!

Ye know the 7 of us should really meet up again and jam together. What a Joy. Keep in mind that everyone of us has been choosen by God to glorify his name through music! So we need to involve ourselves in d praise and worship as much as possible no matter where no matter when.

So Lastly, hope we can all keep in touch, and Aud and I will see u guys next year!! |..|_

Not Just Chilling..

Two years ago, i attended a DYC camp in port dickson. Had the best time ever. Made some awesome friends. This year i was very much looking forward to going. Persuaded five other ppl from the very quiet C.Highlands to join me. Dont think anyone of us regretted it.

First day of camp. i think all six of us felt out of place. not socilaling much..shyshy. Was very happy though to see old friends i met two years ago.

Workshops. once we got involved with it, we started having a little fun. =DD..we opened up to everyone. i started come out of my shell. meeting ppl like Jared and Wene June put me at ease. spending many hours singing and jamming together was awesome. i was comfortable enjoying music. Then seeing old church members there (Chelsea, Suet Meng and Charissa) was refreshing.

One of the best part of camp was the P&W. it was uplifting, exhilarating, fun, touching, and soo much more. i praise the Lord for giving me that chance to worship Him with all my might together with fellow passionate and talented children of God. Coming from a church with a laidback feel, energetic and moving worship was what i craved and needed.

i know the Lord sent me to that camp for purpose. Encouraging me to keep chasing after Him n hang on to Him for dear life. To not give up on sharing the Word with friends. And to trust Him completely in everything i do.

once again i came away from camp not dissappointed. i made double the number of friends i did the last time. with only a hand full of Christian youths in CH i now have a whole group of ppl to rejoice with. I'm truely grateful and thank the Lord for that

By the last day of camp, i was actually very sad to leave these ppl. i wasn even thinking of home. for a moment during the last camp gathering i cudn remember wad my mum looked like. i was having that much fun.

In conclusion. i'm very happy to have met u guys and cant wait to jam and worship with guys again. i went into camp not expecting too much, and came out with friends that i know i'll have for a long long time.

MY PART OF THE STORY!

AS u can see, all my friends have wrote sumtin bout camp. As the title goes, this is my part of the story! I left my little home in Penang and reached Ipoh. It was a bit scary. I knew no one except 4 my sis and the priest. The day went by, and i saw a group of ppl from St. Mark's. At the same time, i oso saw 2 guys wearing striped shirts almost clinging on to each other. My first impression was," Fuyoh! Look at this ppl! super havoc la! etc".

As the days went by, i really got to know these ppl very well. Of course by this time,my list of friens grew from 0 to abt 60! Ppl may say that they met knew friends, but I say that God let me meet these friens. The fact is, i could really identify with the problems tat my friends were facing. Lacking in the word of God, not playing in a band 4 a very long time, etc.

During tat time, i oso met fantastic musicians who were our faci's as we like to call them! DJ JUnior and Matthew. These guys along wit my friens gave me encouragement to go on playing 4 God! In the first place, I did not want to come 4 camp. I told my mom I wanted to sleep and not go 4 camp. This is exactly why i say God let me meet these friens of mine.

By the last day, me and my group of friends became so close we didnt want 2 leave. I can think of only 2 reasons why:-
1) we were building close bonds
2) we were the hottest band in camp!

So, this is my part of the story! I went for camp with no aim and came back with one! Tat is to keep on praying tat i will be able to meet up with these guys and play with them or play 4 God in any church! These r my friens and i hope they will be a blessing to u as they have been to me!

Hey, seeing everyone posted sumtin so juz posted this lar... but seriously, never met frenes dat gud before. I posted this to let u guys knw wad i experienced with frenes through music in this camp.

I still remember how i met Jared.. haha. During the choir workshop lunch break, i and Joel had to lar, play some MUSIC!!! so we were like jammin in the room, thn Jared came, teaching Joel some stuff bout bass, thn Joel was like whisperin to me, WTH!!! this guy is damn gud!!! lol.. so he passed the bass to Jared thn we jammed till after the break we were still jammin!!! Matthew also opened up the room so dat everyone could see us.. was so damn fun. i think Daniel Jackson wanted us to have fun so he resumed the class quite late.

Well, it was only thn i tought of getting those guys to lead P&W for the following day, so i and Joel went to imform Sunita akka bout it and gave us the slot for the morning the next dayy!! well, we couldn't find a worship leader so we got Jacinta to lead... haha, luckily she agreed, after Joel begged her for how many times... so the band was like this... Jacinta leading, I on guitars, Jared on bass, Joel on drums and Jennifer on the keyboard... The practise went on well and slept well that night too... but pity Joel, he couldn't sleep cuz thinkin too much bout da practise session...

Of cuz, da P&W session went on well, and we wanted another session, but sunita said nid to giv others a chance... lol but finally, she gave us a slot on the morning of concert night... I wanted to lead, but due to some problem... hehe(sore throat) Jared lead and chose some havoc songs... oin dat morning, for the first time in my life, i used distortion (overdrive) on my guitar for P&W!!! lol. sounds soooo nice and for all the songs, we made all the youths jumping and praising the Lord!!! was like the semangat sudenly came.... I muz admit, dat was the best P&W session ive ever experienced.. I was and also proud to say dat we did a gud job.. all of us.. Jared and I on guitars, Audrey(drummer chick) on drums, and Joel on bass... ive forgotten who was on bongos

But the best was still the jamming session after concert night!!! Shireen only gave us untill 12 sumtin, so we used dat time to of cuz.. .jamm agian lol. Jenny chin (i think who is the manager of the Psalmist Generation band and a fascilitator) came and requested one way, jesus... we played and sang, and jacinta started to dance!!!! haha

TOO many things to share lar.. lazy to type... i cut out to choir part... so anyone pls help me to complete this??? hahahahahaha

Once again, i would like to thank everyone for lettin me hav this experience which i think will not come again soon....

My First Ever Post...Fuyoh!!

Hey people! =)

Last week I was off for camp...CHILL camp at Ipoh. I didn't really feel up to it at first and felt like I had made the wrong decision to go. First few hours were a bit wierd because it was only my brother and I from our church. But in just that one week that I was there...friendships were created.

I met a bunch of really cool, talented, all-for-Christ dudes and dudettes. Namely Joshua Wong, Audrey, Jennifer, Jared, Joshua Foong and so many others!!! The most memorable time for me was that one morning when I worship led. I wasn't supposed to...but I guess they couldn't find anyone else. I think it was the best decision they made...haha.

Truth be told, I had forgotten how powerful worship could be before that....being in a church where everything is pretty much dead. But on that morning, I really did feel the presence of the Lord surrounding us...like He was holding use safe in His arms.

I've struggled a lot in this past year...struggled with my relationship with God. Week in week out, I go to church like a zombie and come back...feeling empty. Everyday is just another day without Jesus being the center of my life. At camp, I learnt that everthing I do is a wordhip offering to God...be it reading the Bible or even studying for exams. That is why it is so important to make sure our actions, words and thoughts are always pure. It does say in the Bible that our body is the temple of the Lord!

So, my New Year's resolution is to get back with God and NOT take Him for granted! I want to be a shining light in this world and a good example of a Christian.

You can name all the players from the the English Premier
League, but ask you to name one football player from Malaysia ,
one name also cannot come out.

When StreamyX come, you complain StreamyX too slow.
When Maxis Broadband come, you complain Maxis
Broadband always disconnects. When WiMax come, you
complain Wimax too expensive. In the end, you say
StreamyX still the best lah.

When toll price increase, you complain. When petrol price increase,
you complain. When you go Starbucks buy RM10 coffee, NO
COMPLAINTS.

When you cannot find parking in a shopping mall and have
to walk very far, you complain. When you go inside the
shopping mall and there's SALE , run from one end of 1
Utama to the other also NO COMPLAINTS.

You are always late. And the excuse you give when you're late is
always either: (a) traffic jam (b) no transport or (c) cannot find
parking.

You have a parent who force you to take science stream in
high school, study engineering in Uni, then when you
graduate, they ask you to forget everything you learnt in
Uni and do commerce.

You know someone who can specially develop an angmoh accent
when speaking to a American / British / Australian.

You complain against the government in kopitiam, you talk
loud loud. Leave anonymous comments on blogs, you also
talk loud loud. Attend ceremah by DAP, you shout loud loud.
Then when Opposition organise a protest and ask you to go,
you dun wan. Scared later kena tangkap by ISA.

Every year on the 30th April, you are one of the people below
queueing up last minute to submit your tax return at the IRB.

When you pay RM10 for something that costs RM1, you blame
the Chinese.

When a government service is too slow, you blame the Malays.

When a building is not good and collapsed, you blame the
Indonesians!

When a Chinese student won a scholarship, you say 'Wah! Very clever
hor?' When a Malay student won a scholarship, you say 'Aiya! Of course
lah! He Malay mah!'

When an angmoh stranger kiss you on the cheek to say hello,
you very happy. When a Malaysian guy kiss you on the cheek
to say hello, you slap him - so humsup wan!

Thats what you get when you let your heart win....

Once upon a time, there was a 15 year old boy who met a girl same as his age....

He asked her out one day to go to the movies as in a date...

When he went out that day, he was so properly dressed and so excited...
His dad saw him going out so he asked him,

"Son where are you going??"

"To the mall dad to watch a movie," replied the son..

"Oh are u going out alone??" asked dad..

"Nope im going with a girl, her name is Jane," said the son..

"Thats great Son... Is it going to be a date??"

"Yarp," answered the son in a shy tone..

"Son, do you like her??" asked dad..

"yes I do dad.."

"Do you love her???" asked dad again..

"Im nt sure dad, its only our first date," the son said confused...

"So are you telling me that you are going to date a girl which you are not sure of loving her or nt?? by means you are not sure she is your future wife then??"

"yes dad," he replied..

"this means to say that you are dating someone else's future wife??"

"its possible," Son said....

"which means your future wife is out there somewhere dating other guys??" asked dad

"it may be true..."

"okay son, if your future wife is dating someone else, would u tell him to take good care of your future wife??" asked dad in slow tone..

"yes definitely..." said the son...

"What if he hurt or did something to your future wife??? What would you do to him??" asked dad again...

"I would BOX him in the face," replied Son angrily...

"HAHA!!! Okay likewise, what if u hurt or did something to your date which is other people's future wife??" he asked again...

"I guess he would box me??"

"Go son, you're ready for your date..." replied dad satiesfied....

THis story really hit me right in the face.... and gt me thinking on how to be a better person... ;P
